Glastonbury Festival organisers have announced that the re-sale of cancelled tickets for this year’s Festival will take place at 9am on Sunday, 11th April 2010.
Tickets will be sold online at www.seetickets.com/g2010 and via the Seetickets booking line 0844 412 4635. The numbers are limited and are expected to sell out quickly.
Tickets for next year’s Glastonbury Festival will go on sale at 9am on Sunday 4th October priced at £185 + £5 booking fee (plus £4.95 postage).
Next year’s event will mark the 40th anniversary of music and arts festivals at Worthy Farm, Somerset, where Michael Eavis first opened his gates for business in September 1970.
Glastonbury, undisputedly the daddy of English festivals, was back this year bigger and better than ever. The impending thunderstorms and regular mudbaths, the national pandemic of Swine Flu threatening to cancel the event, and even Micheal Jackson’s passing away couldn’t tarnish the weekend. Here, Karen Jago, rates Glastonbury Festival 2009.
Ever wondered what Glastonbury is like on the other side of the fence? Ever wondered what a celebrity would have to say about Britians most famous festival? Wonder no more, because Dominic Masters, lead singer of British indie pop band, The Others, shares with wristband4festivals his weekend’s experiences.
