The organizers from Liverpool Music Week 2009, are pleased to announce the jam packed schedule for this years Liverpool Music Festival, and unleash the highly anticipated free music agenda.
Following the phenomenal demand for tickets, Liverpool music week organizers have announced that the sell out Liverpool Music Week event featuring Calvin Harris has now moved to a bigger venue.
The uber cool Super Furry Animals are to headline this years Liverpool Music Week festival. The Super Furry’s who will be performing at Nation on Thursday 5th November are the final big name act to be announced for this years festival, and will see them joining an array of world class artistes to form one of the biggest line ups the festival has produced since its inception in 2003. Other bands confirmed this years include Kasabian, The Specials, Calvin Harris, Seasick Steve, Reverend & The Makers, The Enemy and Gallows, The Bays & Twisted Wheel.

The number one chart topper, Calvin Harris, is the latest addition for this years Liverpool Music Week.
The self proclaimed re-inventor of disco will be performing at the Liverpool 02 academy on Tuesday 10th November, tickets go on sale from Ticketline at 9am Thursday 10th September.
The hugely iconic band, The Specials, are returning to the stage for one final time in celebration of their 30th Anniversary. Their appearance will not only be the opening event for Liverpool Music Week 2009, held at the stunning Liverpool Olympia Theatre, but will also be the first date on tour for the legendary Ska outfit.
